I put together a very, VERY basic demo site using the nearly headless method.
It’s fast. Really fast. Like, holy cow you can’t believe how fast it is fast.

This is a WordPress theme that uses the Nearly Headless approach. It’s compatible with traditional WordPress, but uses the REST API, and some clever caching to load most of the content before you click.

https://t.co/pWz4t8Bu7m This particular theme is using @Alpine_JS to handle page loading, with PHP rendering the content. Alpine is a suuuuper lightweight JS library that can handle rendering, loops, and other things.
