The more I get into blocks, the more I dislike that raw markup is saved to the database. This makes it impractical to build a design system with Gutenberg because WHEN (not if, when) you need to change the markup of a block, you can’t without a filter, or a database find/replace.

Disclaimer: I think the block editor is awesome, and I’m not trying to make this post into a “Gutenberg sucks” tweet. It’s not that at all.
