Okay okay okay, it’s not decentralized in the true sense, it’s technically “federated”. More like your email than a blockchain. Which I find to be way more approach-able, IMO. docs.joinmastodon.org

At @katherined’s suggestion, I’ve created an IFTTT automation to auto-share to Twitter when I publish on Mastodon. Hopefully this makes the transition easier.

Okay really though. Mastodon has a REST API. You could build a plugin that syncs content (and comments!) between your personal WordPress site, and your social. FOSS opens up so many doors here. Shit. Someone already did it! Cool! wordpress.org/plugins/activi…
