Let’s GO
As thrilled as I am about the significant progress I’m making with Siren, it’s hardly in a place to replace my income, and the simple reality is that building a business like this is a long, slow grind that I’m happy to do, but takes time In the meantime, I need to have a source of income, and considering I decided to take a plunge back into running an agency.

Today has been all about meetings. I’ve got 3 new people on my team, and most of my Mondays go into helping to train them.
So grateful to have help. I didn’t ask for it well enough in the past, and I’m working hard to do that more this year.

Rent’s due. Got work to do this week.
1. Interview with some near-shore talent for future projects
2. Finalize estimate on proposal for future project
3. Finish blog post and email draft on personal brand
4. Follow up on existing leads
TGIF. Been a hard week.

Today in my “document all the things” binge, I’m documenting the recommended tooling and solutions we offer for slow websites, based on the result of a pingdom speed test. The hope is my team will be able to more-effectively recommend what I suggest to my clients.

Writing up some documents to help AI with advising my sales team on how to pitch Novatorius services to customers.
AI seems to be mostly shifting my time from doing the thing to documenting the thing. Which, I guess needed to happen if I want to grow regardless.

I always laughed at how many open tabs people had open in their browser. I’ve always been a “one tab” kinda person.
And then I started running my own business. That uh…that humbled me a bit.
There’s a big difference between being a problem solver and being a solution creator—and most people get it wrong.
