Project “build a damn desk over the weekend” has escalated to “project build a desk, ottoman, and cabinet doors”

GD scope creep.

List of things I didn’t expect to say to my kids:

“STOP BREATHING ON PEOPLE”

So this hack job is a work in progress, but we were able to re-use materials throughout our camper to build a storage area, countertop, and a vented place to put our solar equipment. I’ll be finishing this, and installing a cabinet door to make it look nice soon.

Ben is playing a kid game called @codesparkapp and their little characters are called “the foos” and I’m here for how adorable that is.

Now that the boxes are gone we can pull the entire map out again! (Baby for scale)

Making good progress. Got the old table moved out, hacked up, and modified as needed. Just working on the new desktop now.

So today we’re ripping out my desk and building a new one on the other side. Let’s hope I have a desk on Monday 😅
