Okay, so the brewery website is ready to go and published here:
nearly-headless.dev
Still have a little more to-do, mostly revolving around SEO and title tags, but this is pretty much what we’re going to build in the upcoming course.

I have a person who is technically avid, and needs a job. They are willing to learn, and work, but really freaking need a boost to get started. Anyone hiring?

Alright, let’s have some fun. I need fun beer names that play off of music. Bonus points for alliteration with the beer style. Even more bonus points if it’s metal.
Example: “Pentatonic Porter”
I’ll be using these for a fake brewery website I’m building.

Been playing with theme.json, and something that really excites me is that since it’s just a JSON file, you can use it, and parse it in other places. I’m using Tailwind to tie the color palette used by Tailwind directly to the theme.json palette, for example.

The more I get into blocks, the more I dislike that raw markup is saved to the database. This makes it impractical to build a design system with Gutenberg because WHEN (not if, when) you need to change the markup of a block, you can’t without a filter, or a database find/replace.

Hot take time!

He did not deserve the trama for playing how he wanted to play.
