Chatting with @cklosowski and it just occurred to me – the first time I installed Linux was because I thought the wiggly windows were cool. I didn’t know anything about open source, but fell in-love with the idea. …Am I in WordPress because of wiggly windows?

The last 3 quote requests through @DFS_Web has explicitly required accessibility for the build. Keep pushing. Keep educating. We’re making progress here, and it matters.

I put together a very, VERY basic demo site using the nearly headless method. It’s fast. Really fast. Like, holy cow you can’t believe how fast it is fast. You can see it in-action here: nearly-headless.dev #WordPress #nearlyheadless

I took a hot shower today, and did not need to start the generator. It’s a good day.

Exciting news! I released the boilerplate for building your own nearly headless WordPress theme. All key functionality is broken into different dependencies so your theme can stay up-to-date as this method evolves. github.com/nicholas-wordp…

OUR WATER HEATER IS WORKING AGAIN! For the first time since moving here, I’ll get to take a hot shower. We’re about to use a lot of water today 😂 (relatively speaking, y’all, we use like 40 gallons a week)
