The introduction of class syntax was a HUGE deal for me. It allowed me to bypass a lot of the language-specific quirkiness of JavaScript, and ease-into non class-based JS. It’s worth the transition, but I’m glad they were there to help me get here. buff.ly/2JkOSyp

Has the Pomodoro technique actually worked for anyone? I find that 25 minutes isn’t nearly enough time. There’s definitely a point in which I start to lose focus, but it’s usually an hour or two, not 25 minutes. buff.ly/3o5I3A8

I’ve spent a lot of time sitting in waiting rooms today. I’ve been working while waiting, and this is the first time I’ve really spent any time in-public in a long time. Even with a mask on, it’s nice to be working somewhere new. I can’t wait until this pandemic is over.

Getting upgrades to my truck’s suspension system installed today. I’m sitting at the shop, and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. Really cool dude, traveled all over the country in a camper for 10 years before setting up shop here in hill country, Texas.

Work in progress, but we installed a baby gate and basically cut Devin’s massive bunk in-half. He doesn’t need all the space and we needed a way for Ben to be able to climb in his bed. This adjustment makes that easier, and also creates another play surface.
