Today is mostly about Siren. I hosted a podcast interview with Katie Keith today about affiliate marketing and now I’m fixing a bug in Siren. Throw in a couple client meetings, and some code reviews, and that just about sums up the day.

Please WordPress people – keep custom logic that is not…
Please WordPress people – keep custom logic that is not theme-specific out of your themes. It really matters as that project grows. Even if you dump it in a single file plugin, that’s way better. Pretend its’ functions.php, I don’t care – just keep it out of the theme 🙏🙏🙏

Yesterday I set up a WordPress plugin for outsourcing, initiated a new site build, and had a good call with getting Siren content published more reliably. Today I am going to work on a different plugin. Super busy, but starting to get into a rhythm.
