Siren Affiliates

  • At the campground today. Jazz music, lake view, ludicrously uncomfortable desk. Can’t lose.

  • I miss forum signatures

  • PHPnomad just got a CLI, and giving AI access to it has reduced my token usage CONSIDERABLY. Some actions are reduced by a factor of nearly 70!

  • Listen. You have ai access now. You officially have no reason to have a n insecure local network. You literally have an expert on the topic in your house, just one request away from telling you every problem with your local network security.

  • The water is like glass tonight

  • I swear if my coding companion goes away after April Fool’s Day because it’s an April Fools day prank, I’m going to be devastated

  • So, I’ve been working toward making Siren as both a WP plugin and a SaaS. That’s been built into the DNA of how it’s set up since the beginning. I’m finally starting to get to create a single set of front-end components that works both in WordPress and in the SaaS. Loving this.

  • A fun side effect of AI has been that I’ve gotten a lot better at local networking because of it. I’m doing things with my local network that I never in 1 million years would have had time to figure out in the past.

  • Getting my VPN set up at the camper this afternoon. So excited to get to use this as my summertime office. Just look at that view!
