I’m using OBS, KDEnlive to record all of my documentation tutorials for Siren. It’s been my setup for a while now. I use Inkscape and Gimp for art assets and and SVG tweaks. I actually think the only that this is not FOSS that I used to build Siren is PHPStorm 😅

Just recorded an entire script, for Siren’s documentation, but forgot to press record. AMA

Something I frequently need in Siren is a flowchart to help explain how different affiliate programs work, so I’m putting together a flowchart block. Making good use of the LeaderLine library and core’s group block, as well as an existing card block I already had laying around. Really loving how much less code I’m writing to do simple stuff like flex layouts with full site editing.

I’m still getting used to using a full site theme for WordPress. But WOW today was a win. I’m working on setting up the documentation portal for Siren Affiliates, and literally just created a custom post type, and that was the extend of the code. I’m able to build all of the template layouts for the post type in the FSE context.
This is REALLY cool!

I’m working on the launch documentation for Siren. I’m pretty comfortable with video, so I decided a great place to start is by building a getting started course using Lifter LMS. I think that’ll translate into text fairly fast.

I didn’t come up with Siren overnight. It represents years of experience, both as a developer and a user of Affiliate programs.

Getting really tired of the doomsday content everyone’s posting about the state of the web. The big companies do not own the web. If you believe in the open web, then you know there will always be a place where real, authentic content will thrive.
There’s a vacuum right now, but that doesn’t mean it’s all gone to shit. Calm down y’all.
