I’m Looking For Freelance Work (Resolved)
I’m gearing up for WordPress side projects this season. Seeking teams managing complex WP sites needing tech help. I have experience in technical site audits, custom RESTful integrations, and plugin feature work. Check the post for more information, links to relevant case studies, and how to get in-touch.

My favorite feature of the new iOS is that you can set the wallpaper to change every time your screen turns on. I set it to “Nature” and every time my phone comes on I get to see one of the many amazing vistas I’ve taken a photo of over the years in our travels. It’s so nice to just get a constant trickle of personal photos like that.
Also, I love that the clock clips behind the vista sometimes.

Spotify keeps pushing the AI-based DJ “X”, but honestly I think the killer app is the playlist “Enhance” feature.

The splash screen background while migrating to the new Outlook looks straight out of Windows XP. I’m disappointed to find that I didn’t get the music, too.

I’ve started to use Cloudinary for media hosting solution on this site. It seems really good so-far, except for the fact that my media URLs aren’t working quite right when I upload from mobile. Hoping to get that resolved because other than that, this seems like the perfect solution to my problem.

I believe that WordPress isn’t software. It’s not community. It’s not a single person, no matter how significant that person thinks they are. I believe that WordPress is the manifestation of a belief that the web is at its best when it’s open. If I genuinely believed that forking WordPress would be good for WordPress, and the web, I’d contribute to it over the existing platform in a heartbeat.
