  • Sigh. I just got to my camper in Texas, only to discover the person I paid to deliver it apparently wrecked it on the way here. Trying to figure out my living situation in the meantime, filing reports, etc. what a mess.

  • They’re hunting squirrels, again. I think they may be disappointed to find this spot doesn’t have nearly as many as Shenandoah or Lake Hartwell ????. That being said, the acorns are definitely still falling, so maybe they’ll get some action.

  • I just did the single longest drive with a camper in-tow we’ve ever done. We went 680 miles, starting in Hartwell GA, and parking for the day in Lafayette, LA. I do not enjoy staying in Mississippi Alabama, or Georgia based on previous experiences in these places, so we decided to rip off the Band-Aid…

  • Fellow WordPress developers building websites, I beg you. Please learn about must-use plugins, and every time you think about adding a special hook to your functions.php file, think for a moment – is what you’re adding going likely going to want to continue to be used when you change themes? If so, put it in…

  • Lake, Champlain, looking at the Adirondacks from Vermont. This view is from the entrance to our campground, and I can see most of it whenever I’m sitting in my camper. I Love the sunsets, but hate the mosquitoes.
