  • I just noticed every year since we’ve started traveling, one place has stuck out and felt like “home” each year. Ohio (2020) Taos (2021) Vermont (2022) Rodanthe (2023). I wonder if we’ll eventually get repeat locations that earn such a title?

  • This is one of the weirder truckloads I’ve taken camping with me. Logistics, Amirite?

  • I have the prototype for the kite mount assembled. Can’t wait to give this thing a try this weekend while we’re in the Outer Banks!

  • We’ve cleared most of our belongings leftover in our storage shed in Dover. I have 4 solar panels that I need to either sell, store, or use. I have our travel rig with me right now, so I’m thinking it’s time to mount them to the roof. I think I can get all 4 mounted,…

  • LASIK

I got LASIK yesterday, and for the first time since 1994, when I was 6 years old, I am able to see without corrective lenses. It’s been an exciting, and surprisingly emotional experience for me.

  • My eyes are suuuuper dilated and I can’t read the text in my screen without making the text size much, much bigger. Today, this is temporary, but it’s a stark reminder that accessibility is so important. So grateful I could make the text size bigger on my screen in the meantime.
