Previous owner had a dog, and they also scratched up some of the molding. Gotta replace that. Fortunately it looks like all of that happened in one specific spot in the camper, so it’s not too severe.

Vacuuming up the crap in this camper. Got a great deal on it (13k) but previous owner had a dog so it smells when it gets warm. Replacing furniture. Might replace carpet too. #rvRehab26

Anyone else frequently saying “Claude use sleep to wait 2 hours and then pick this back up” It’s a nice down and dirty way to automatically pause until your usage resets.

I used to be the dev crying “but code quality”. The truth it’s, it just doesn’t matter that much, because AI can refactor and organize that tech debt pretty fast. It allows you to iterate and improve the code faster, and that includes bearing down on tech debt

It’s been deeply satisfying to see AI leverage PHPNomad to build out so much of my Novatorius infrastructure this week. So cool to see the stuff I’ve been using to build plugins for clients, and Siren, also be completely usable elsewhere without changing context.

It’s that one week that happens every hundred weeks or so where I decide I am an authoritative expert in curling 😆

If AI can build the software, what do I actually sell?
I had a weird moment this week that stuck with me. I built something in about an hour that would have taken me a month a year ago. Same outcome. Completely legitimate – built to my standards, but in minutes instead of weeks. It was REALLY something to behold, but it genuinely made me sick…

If AI can build software instantly, then the thing I sell must be something software alone cannot confer.
