Looks like my fellow snowbirds are packing up and continuing south today. I hear the hustle and bustle of campers being connected to trucks just outside my window.
Not us. We’re takin’ a couple days to rest. It feels like we’ve come so-far, but really we’re only 2/3rds of the way there. Texas is such a huge state.

I use the bookmarks feature as a place to put “actionable items” from discussions had on Mastodon.
If I ever get a reply that directly correlates to something I want to do later on, I bookmark it. When I’ve done the thing I need to do, I un-bookmark it and move on.
One of my favorite little tricks to organizing my feed.

All this talk about this crazy #fediverse, but really it’s just implementing JSON-LD. If you’ve worked in technical SEO, you’re surprisingly close to integrating Mastodon with your site.

I built my site map for my new website, and honestly it doesn’t look that different than a WordPress blog, with a smattering of automated curation from off-site content, and lots and lots of RSS feed capabilities. If you want to follow any of my content via RSS, my hope is that you will always be able to make an ideal feed directly through my website.
