- Prepare to onboard salesperson for tomorrow
- Set up kickoff meeting with newly signed client
- Prepare notes and agenda for the Q4 quarterly meeting
- Work on various support tickets for existing customers

Today has been all about meetings. I’ve got 3 new people on my team, and most of my Mondays go into helping to train them.
So grateful to have help. I didn’t ask for it well enough in the past, and I’m working hard to do that more this year.

Rent’s due. Got work to do this week.
1. Interview with some near-shore talent for future projects
2. Finalize estimate on proposal for future project
3. Finish blog post and email draft on personal brand
4. Follow up on existing leads
TGIF. Been a hard week.

Projects are progressing. Developers are gaining velocity. Writers are writing. Sales pipeline and video editing is all set up. It’s been a heck of a process, but every day that passes I feel more confident that I am ready for this. Let’s GO.

Voted this afternoon, and now it’s time for lunch. I woke up at the top of the witching hour and couldn’t get back to sleep. When that happens I don’t fight it – I just start early and end early.

I have 2 more developers (perhaps 3?) starting next week, so my Friday consisted of documenting the Novatorius discovery process and making sure they’re all set when they get started.

Today is mostly about Siren. I hosted a podcast interview with Katie Keith today about affiliate marketing and now I’m fixing a bug in Siren.
Throw in a couple client meetings, and some code reviews, and that just about sums up the day.

Today is mostly about budgeting and finance. I pay myself on the 10th and 25th, and lean into Profit First ideology.
If I have time, I’ll probably get moving on a project I won earlier this month. I have a few retainers I kinda need to organize.

Published a podcast episode today, and scheduled another one two weeks from now. I’ll be working on next week’s on Thursday, I think.
Also met with some people who I hope will be able to work with me soon!
Feels really good to start finally getting back to “normal” after becoming self-employed again.
