Someone mentioned that they made a Claude skill to run codex as a background worker instead of using Claude models, and I had to try it out. What a great way to spread out usage more evenly across the services.

Personalized software means technical people don’t want your solution anymore. They want theirs. I’m betting that attractive SaaS is going to be solutions that integrate cleanly into what they have going on.
What I don’t know yet, is how far people will take building their own thing. I’ve gone very far, but I don’t think most would do this, and it’s still very possible that I’ll be backpedaling in a few years.
Who knows.

Codex’s Sol model is doing really, really well. I haven’t decided if it’s better or worse than Fable, but it really feels like all the power without the calories right now.

It’s not perfect, but AI was able to help me mock up the new backdrop I’m setting up in my office for my livestreaming, podcasting, and webinars.
A big part of the latter half of this year’s strategy is putting me behind a microphone as much as possible, and I really wanted to dress it up.
The furniture and everything is coming in over the next few weeks. Curious to see how close the mockup ends up being to reality!
