Just received a job posting with a “Flexi-remote” offering. I couldn’t help but chuckle at how much this misses the damn point for many of us.

You lose a lot by being locked to a location, and a “semi-remote” position does nothing to change that.

Good god. Our lot is huge.

Parked in Austin and on our way to our next stop. I’m enjoying this weekly cadence. Pendernales State Park was nice, but it’s time to move on.

Last week this didn’t go so well. Adjusted some things, and success!

Devin has, with great delight, discovered that when he throws his pork on the floor, the dog will gobble it up.

I can’t stop thinking about this post. I really think the key to being truly 100% off-grid comes from redundancies when-possible, and this is a fantastic example of that.
