Oh man I just realized this Jackery 240 is not gonna be enough anymore. My new laptop is a power-sucking beast and we are stopping WAY more often than before so the alternator isn’t going to help us between days. So I just bought one of the 1000s 💸💸💸

We replaced the folding chairs with folding stools. They can be used as little end tables as well as chairs. They fold up and hang on the wall when not in-use

Kate is in the process of re-finishing the countertops, too! Can’t wait!

We also replaced Devin’s high chair with something a little more traditional. This thing is SO much easier to set up. No more bending down under the folding chair to strap it in.

We also traded in our generator for a solar panel for our Jackery. It’s definitely not a 1:1 replacement, but for how we travel it should be enough to keep us charged in-between campgrounds. Mow we don’t have to lug that damn 100lb generator around for every stop.

Also got a lapdesk for when I’m lounging on the daybed. This laptop is powerful but it gets pretty warm. This elevates the laptop and makes it a lot more comfortable.

Making some upgrades this week. FINALLY got myself a proper office chair that tucks neatly under the desk when we’re not using it. https://t.co/HUcUcHG7p2 You can’t really tell in this photo, but in-order to-do this I had to modify the desk setup a bit. We basically cut the bottom layer in-half. This opened up the space for the chair, and gave me A LOT more legroom underneath. Here’s a photo of the table when we first moved in.

Kates birthday is today. So I am currently doing all the chores. This is how adult birthdays work 😅

Round and around we go! Server-side rendering is cool again! All joking aside, I’m REALLY excited about the potential of this.

‘The clocks will never adjust for us to go beyond 24 hours. We should learn to say no to things that are not so important.” by @code_rams

Easy when you understand your limits, but it’s damn near impossible if you don’t know those limits. Know thyself!
