People don’t remember what you did – they remember how you made them feel. If you want to create real relationships with your customers, you have to break down the salesperson -> customer relationship. Treat them like a person you want to help, not as a source of income. This is ESPECIALLY true right now. I haven’t asked anyone for work since this started. Instead, I have doubled-down on simple check-ins, and reminders that we’re here for them, and want to help in whatever way we can. Even if that means just offering some advice.

One thing I find we need to constantly do with our customers is give them a friendly nudge to launch their darn site.

I’ve seen people at all skill levels spend way too much time iterating, and perfecting behind closed doors.

What’s the worst improper use of a forms plugin you’ve seen?

I saw one with ~500 @NinjaForms conditional logic sets to determine an address based on the value of a select field. It got so big that not only did it crash on the front-end, but the editor crashed too. #WordPress https://t.co/NahyBwZeLi We solved this by creating a custom database table to associate their database of locations with fields, and created a custom NF field that would use the database to look up. This replaced all of the conditional logic and got the form up and running again.

Okay, this made me laugh.
