PSA: don’t make your hooks or filters “cute”, where you make them dynamic based on some kind of string concatenation. EG:
do_action( ‘new_’ . $type . ‘_created’ );
It makes searching your code for the right hook much, much harder.

Display ads on Google/Twitter/Facebook is the equivalent of shopping at WalMart or Target. Keep your ad money in your community. There’s plenty of podcasts, blogs, and other great places in your industry that need that money WAY more than social networks.
