We usually do our household Thanksgiving on Black Friday. As usual, I’m smoking a duck, but we’re also going to make some delicious butternut squash soup over the fire. We have some dry bread, which will become stuffing, too. Loading up the fire early. It’s so much easier to keep the temp right over hot coals, instead of flame.
