Just used @github’s web editor to update my alexstandiford/alexstandiford repository directly. That was REALLY neat.

Let’s talk about one of my favorite patterns in programming. These are used ALL OVER the place, regardless of if you know you’re using them, or not.
This post talks about how registries work, and how you can make your own for your #WordPress plugin.

Is there a WordPress plugin out there that allows me to treat scheduled content like how Buffer handles content?
I’d love to be able to just say “queue post” and have it automatically post based on a pre-determined schedule, move content to the front of the line, etc.

I’ve been complaining a lot lately. lots of bad luck. I’m concerned that it has created an image that this life is bad.
It’s not. It’s hard, it’s unforgiving, and nobody really helps, but it’s not bad.
If I did it again, I’d do it different, but I would still end here ❤️

Actual photo of the worst generator ever made. I’ve Gone through three of these in four weeks. This one lasted 4 days. I’ve called support. I’ve broken it in correctly, I’ve ensured oil is right. My demand is way less than 2000 watts.
do NOT buy @ChampionGen – they are awful.

Underpin’s theme loader implements a middleware pattern. I’m coming to realize just how badly WordPress scripts benefit from this pattern.
I have a script that does a lot of prep work in my nearly headless theme, and it REALLY cleans it up.
