To see how much power this fridge consumes, I left it plugged into my 1000w Jackery overnight. The fridge used much less power than I estimated based on the amp rating. This means that I’ll probably skip the extra battery.

The first challenge is finding a way to cap off this propane line so I can disconnect the fridge. I have absolutely no clue what size this is, and after my experience with the furnace last year I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a pain in the ass to find a cap that fits it.

This is my favorite time of day. Between dinner and bedtime. Summer. Taos, New Mexico.

It’s 78°, with an autumn-like breeze. I watch the mountains slowly change to indigo. I’m shaded by the camper, and am comfortable, and for the first time in my entire life, content.

When you’re planning an event with a global attendance, what is the appropriate time zone to communicate? UTC seems both right and very wrong.
