I touch on JavaScript hooks in the beer plugin course published on WP Dev Academy. in the course I use them to change a taxonomy term to use radio buttons instead of checkboxes. They’re really cool!

With 2.8 out, and the recent revitalized push on Gutenberg blocks, I thought it would be good to talk a bit about how blocks work. Hopefully this will help someone understand how to work with them a little better.
