Driving through New Mexico, we saw a sign that read “DERRY ARREY 3 MI”

A short while later, we saw “ARREY DERRY 1 MI”

I thought we were being punk’d. Is it Arrey Derry or Derry Arrey?

Turns out it’s two separate towns. Not a single location 😅

Devin is HEAVY, but this hike was pretty cool. We struggled a bit with Ben, but that happens sometimes.

This time of year, the New Mexico air is cold all day. The breeze comes through and it’s almost too cold to handle. But then it stops, and the sun warms you right back up. Kind of like when you’re sorting in a lukewarm bathtub and you start filling it up with really hot water.

Had a lovely conversation with an older dude parked next to us, living out of a camper truck. He’s been full-time his entire life, owns land all over the country. He parks here as his home base, and says he leaves when he gets the “go ‘yonders”

I freaking love this life.
