A big motivating factor for me to keep our current setup is that I HATE banks. They’re pointless middlemen that determine the terms in-which I can purchase things that society tells me I need. If I can own a home and never have to involve a bank I’ll be so, SO pleased.

In the upgrading, we also did a bug purge this weekend. I’ve sold over 300 lbs of things already. It’s crazy that in a minimalistic life like ours, we still accumulate things we don’t need.

Our rig is far from the coolest RV in the campgrounds, but we purchased it for $7,000 and have put a lot of effort into making it work for us.

We’re making a lot of upgrades to the RV, actually. We reached a fork in the road this week, where we had to decide if we were going to buy a house, buy a new RV, or upgrade our current rig. We opted to take the (immense) savings and fix up old reliable. 90,000 in-debt, 250,000 in debt, or spend $2,000 to make our current rig a lot nicer. When you put it that way it seems like a no-brainer.

Made an upgrade that was a long time coming. Got rid of the gigantic cat box in the middle of the camper, and moved their boxes in a cubby. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW HAPPY I AM ANOUT THIS.
