I have a new iPad pro, a brand new Razer Blade laptop, and other high end devices all around me. And yet, I can’t stop using this little $150 Chromebook for my blogging and SEO work.

This never rang true for me, simply because I’ve always done work I love. (Hell, my business’s mantra is love what you do.)

This, however, IS VERY true for someone very close to me. I would also add “it doesn’t have to be a career, either.”

I did this recently, too. Conferences, and concerts littered my calendar. It’s weird how fast you “forget” that such luxuries were once an option.

I switched from @BearNotesApp to @simplenoteapp for my markdown note taking because I switched to Linux for my work computer. I liked Bear better, but Simple Notes is pretty close, and works cross-platform. Electron is probably the best thing to happen to Linux in a long time.

Today for Ben’s homeschooling handwriting exercise, Kate gave him the word “fort”

This has proven to be a mistake, as Ben insists that he writes “fart” instead.

I’m trying to be an adult here, but I can’t stop giggling.
