I call bullshit, 80’s. When has history ever indicated a person who challenges the status quo will end up peaking in such an average way?

Leave BOTH positive and negative feedback. There’s value in telling someone the things you like just as much as the things you would change.

This happens in natural conversation and is often lost in email correspondence.

Someday I’m going to write a blog post about how 16.667 is like pi for project timeline estimations, but fundamentally I have found that if you take a project’s hours, divide it by 16.667, you’ll get a realistic estimate of the of weeks it will take a developer to do the work.

One thing I’ve learned the hard way – putting a project “on hold” should be the absolute last resort. There’s nothing worse than being in limbo with a project for 6 months, waiting for it to rear its head at an inopportune time.
