Something I did not expect was a bonding moment with my kids thanks to Psychostick of all things. I regularly listened to them when I was an adult teen. Fast forward nearly a decade and I hear them singing “I’m a dog and I like socks”, and we headbanged together.

Thinking about different ways to exercise daily, and I’ve found that surprisingly enough flying a dual-line kite is a decent upper body workout. Eyeing up something bigger like a Tantrum 220 🤔

Loving that this second monitor is not only good for couch gaming, but if I’m doing what I call “shallow work”, it’s nice to have a second screen. My little Macbook Air is great on its own, but sometimes I want the extra real-estate. Not too different than my original RV setup, actually.
Eventually I’ll replace this board with something better, but for now, any planar surface will do 😅

I even created my own daily journal template using Figma last night. I based it on my time-budgeting approach, and left plenty of room for bullet journaling so I can get stuff out of my head and keep myself from getting distracted during the oh-so-important deep work timeblock.
Also, I love that I got to add a little Novatorius logo and “You Got This” to the bottom.

I’m not confident I can top this setup. It’s basically a wood board on my recliner with a controller, keyboard, portable monitor, all hooked up to my handheld. Basically a Nintendo Switch, but way better.

It is ready to print! The final overall dimensions is about 13″ tall x 5.5″ wide x 11″ deep. If I would have splurged on a mini ATX motherboard I could have made it a lot smaller – probably 8″tall x 5.5″ wide x 8″ deep. But I wanted WiFi 6 and more for less money 😂.
