The biggest piece of advice I’d offer to someone adding their WordPress plugin to the directory – think very hard about what is needed to allow you to debug WITHOUT accessing their admin dashboard. For example, a common issue I had with Easy Age Verifier was that if the verifier doesn’t display properly, the user would disable the plugin and then submit a ticket. Obviously, I can’t debug the issue if the plugin isn’t activated, but I understand why they do it.

If you think WordPress is why your site is slow, you’re probably doing it wrong. My demo site for Brewio, dropc.brewio.beer, did pretty well on initial benchmarks.
