I think I just found my winter break project. I have a collection of plugins on my site that handles syndication. Would be really nice to bundle it up in a PHPNomad Package. Looks like Bluesky really easy to set up.

Spent time writing docs for PHPNomad yesterday, and the fruits of that labor came through already, when I was able to link to the docs a few times to help a developer with a PR.
I always think about docs last, but then find myself wishing I had it months ago at the same time.

Kate and Devin requested stands for a Christmas tree craft they’re working on, so I got to over-engineer one for the 3D printer 😁. The holes inside are designed to hold pennies that will add weight to the base. Designed it so that I can print the rod sideways which should make it stronger since the layers will go along the length of the rod instead of the profile.
Update: this came out really good, and I’ve printed several of these. Very happy with the result. I shared the print on Thingiverse, and you can get it here.

I set up some shelving in my office over the weekend for my gaming “server” (AKA “old gaming laptop”) and printer. The shelving was in the basement prior to, and was twice as tall but I don’t need all that in the office right now. The problem? The tops aren’t nicely capped, and they seem potentially hazardous. So I’m 3D printing some custom caps to clean it up a bit.
I’m printing out of ABS just because that was what was already on the feed, so I added a raft because ABS curls like crazy.

Bluesky + Mastodon are the last pieces of the puzzle to allow me to publish from my mobile without actually having the app on my phone. This will allow me to stay connected with the world, but still allow me to keep social as “a place” instead of an omnipresent part of my life.
