Devin discovered “the mouse” today. Apparently Bennett has been showing him how to use it while playing his games on his laptop. Came out of the shower to find Devin clicking around my PC, so I redirected that curiosity into something that won’t inadvertently wipe my hard drive ???? in the process.

Welp, our land offer was not good enough, apparently. we lost on terms (again). I hate this feeling so much, and it keeps happening. You spend so much time and energy just…choosing the place, only to have it ripped away by a cash buyer. I hate purchasing real-estate so, so much.
At least we’re starting to see new options crop up. Maybe we’ll have more luck in the future.

Kate keeps telling me that we’re going to be able to see the Northern lights much further south than usual over the next few years. Does this mean it’ll be really crazy if you go where it is typically visible?

My wife spent like 3 hours on the beach with Bennett today, looking for seashells. As I approached her, she came running up to me looking like what you see in the photo ????. She was so dang excited to find a fully intact conch shell in the water, and got soaked going in after it.

I just now discovered that Codepen closed down their blog post functionality. I had some content written on that platform, so I guess it’s time to migrate it to my core site.

I had mistakenly thought that the WordPress app was replaced by Jetpack. Turns out it wasn’t. It simply split from WordPress. You no longer need Jetpack to run the WordPress app on a self hosted WordPress site.
No offense to the people who surely work hard on this plugin, but it’s not for me ????.
