Campfire cooking gives you plenty of time to reflect. So grateful to get to do things like this. I can’t believe that just 2 years ago I was in my 12’th year of unrealistic deadline life. Never a-freaking gain.

And now, we just monitor the internal oven temp until the meat hits 200. It’s a good day.

I’m doing a pork shoulder over the fire today. We tried one last week and I learned a lot about doing it halfway decent over a campfire. 🤪
