Sigh. My monitor is trashed.

Well, we managed to secure a booking here to hold us over. It’s double the cost of our RV lot, but at least I know where I’m going to be for the next couple of months.

Our Camper Has Been Severely Damaged
Our winter home has been damaged, and it’s unclear if we’re ever going to live in it again. As a result, we find ourselves making due, but we’re asking for help.

Sigh. I just got to my camper in Texas, only to discover the person I paid to deliver it apparently wrecked it on the way here. Trying to figure out my living situation in the meantime, filing reports, etc. what a mess.

They’re hunting squirrels, again. I think they may be disappointed to find this spot doesn’t have nearly as many as Shenandoah or Lake Hartwell ????. That being said, the acorns are definitely still falling, so maybe they’ll get some action.

I just did the single longest drive with a camper in-tow we’ve ever done. We went 680 miles, starting in Hartwell GA, and parking for the day in Lafayette, LA. I do not enjoy staying in Mississippi Alabama, or Georgia based on previous experiences in these places, so we decided to rip off the Band-Aid and skip all of that in our drive to TX this year. 10/10, would drive again.

That’s a wrap for this summer! Starting our trip back to Texas this week. We have a few fun stops along the way, including the Smokies, the Poconos, and Shenandoah.

Earlier this week, Kate and I finally sat down and booked the rest of our year’s RV stays. With that, we officially have our statistics for the year. What’s cool is we were able to compare it to next years planned route, to help figure out if the trip is too much, or not. blog post probably coming soon.
