Welp, we just bought a third camper. It will remain on our seasonal lot in Vermont. It’s a 2014, 32′ with a slide. It will be a better fit for the summer months when we are not traveling so much.

We now have a big summer camper in VT, a huge Winter camper in TX, and a small travel camper for the shoulder seasons when we tend to do most of our travel.

Blog post with a detailed breakdown coming soon!

Slow cooking on the grill today. The little camper doesn’t have room for something to do it in an easier manner, so to the grill I go! It makes a better meal, anyway.

Having trouble keeping it up to temp, so I ended up getting creative with the fan ????

Parked for a single night harvest host stay en route to Vermont. The beers are fantastic.

I think US beer is way, way better up north. There’s so many styles that people crave in cold months compared to hot months, and I’m convinced this makes the breweries produce more variety.

Omg. My bed. I’m back in my bed. It’s a crappy camper mattress, but dammit, it’s my bed! We’re starting our 3 day drive back to Vermont tomorrow. So tonight, I’m not doin’ anything but playing video games while laying on this hard, hard mattress of mine.

We took some photos of the stunning Gros Morne national park and will post a blog post when we’re stateside again.

I’m on a ferry this afternoon, heading to Newfoundland & Labrador, and I seriously underestimated how huge a ferry actually is. This is wild. We didn’t bring the camper, but absolutely could have, and many others did! No pictures because the internet is ran by a potato on this thing. Besides, I get dizzy when I’m staring at my screen (unexpected side bonus!)

Kate is obsessed with the sound of the rocks crashing when the waves pull back. ♥️

Cape Breton is so, so beautiful! Next level amazing. I don’t think I’ve seen a National Park this scenic since we were out west two years ago. We went on a 4.7 mile hike today and we’re rewarded with some cool views, but the drive itself was simply stunning.

Today is another travel day. We’re heading about 250 miles further north, into Novia Scotia, where our camper will remain for the next week.

This week, we’re going to take the ferry to Newfoundland and Labrador, where we will spend a couple nights to visit Gros Morne. ????

We visited Cavendish Beach, a site that was suggested to us by a local. She referred to it as “cavy”, and asked her co worker what she thought of the recommendation with an “eh?”

Cavy creates this beautiful gradation from blue to red as the water hits the red soil on the coast.

I practiced my kite stalls, barefoot on the beach, while the kids played in the cold water. I love beach days!

We’re just arrived on Prince Edward Island, and I noticed it was windy when we parked. Excited, I go out and try to fly my kite, which of course is when the wind dies.

I miss the constant wind on the Outer Banks. I hear they do some kite surfing here though, so maybe I’ll have more luck on the beach. ????
