“AI is amazing! It can build my website for me! I just have to prepare the templates it’s allowed to use, describe when it’s best to use them, and provide examples!”

Theme development in 2026 is becoming everything after “just have to” in that text above.

Putting together block patterns for Novatorius’ website today. I always skip this step, and regret it later. Not this time.

Just got off a really productive 1:1 call with a new Siren Affiliates customer. I showed them how to set up their programs in the way they want, and walked through how payouts works.

And as it happens, they were using Groundhogg. 🤔

Another feature coming to the Gravity Forms/Siren Affiliates integration – assigning an affiliate to a form. When that form is submitted, that affiliate can be configured to always get credit.

Great for building lead pages and forms dedicated to specific salespeople.

Just spent about 5 hours doing discovery work on everything I want to implement in my upcoming Gravity Forms integration with Siren.

That seems like a lot of time spent not coding, and even though I know better, I was so tempted to just skip this part and get right to coding. I’m really excited to finally break ground on forms plugins because there’s SO much Siren can do with them, so the urge to “get started” was really strong.

And WOW I’m glad I didn’t make that mistake. As I started researching, peeling back layers, and noting my findings, I discovered so many things that I had not considered in my initial conceptualization of this integration.

I would have definitely used up more than 5 hours doing rework, or worse yet, I would have written up a bunch of technical debt that would have slowed me down for more integrations in the future.

This just re-affirms my belief that the best place to start a project is a good ol’ fashioned Google Doc, NOT your code editor.

Aaaand that’s it! This update is live!

Siren is all about running more intimate incentive programs, so it just made sense to have this capability baked-in, and I’m really glad it’s here. I’ve already found a couple of situations where I needed to use it.

Siren 2.1.0 adds some really nice, and highly-requested quality of life changes, and support for crediting collaborators with orders manually.

    Quick down-and-dirty demo:

This will also enable you to create orders from integrations, and manually attribute sales. Super handy for sales teams using Siren to manage order attribution.

Working on the transaction builder for Siren Affiliates this morning.

  • Alex Standiford

There’s another nice little upgrade on this transactions screen – you can see the source of the transaction across integrations. I want to do more of these little QOL upgrades in future versions too.

  • Alex Standiford

This update will add a transactions screen, so you can view existing transactions, add new ones, and credit collaborators with transactions.

Your programs will automatically apply the appropriate rewards from there.
