Welp, here we are. Day one of hitting the road after OBX. Parked somewhere in Delaware, in a parking lot with the new camper in-tow. I loved my time in the Outer Banks, and was sad to leave, but, as always, the thrill of getting back on the road captivates me once more. It feels good to be “back”.

They’re small, but still have all the benefits that a fifth wheel provide. A more-stable haul, a shorter haul length, more headroom. With some panels on the roof, I think you could take this thing darn near anywhere.

We leave for Vermont this weekend. I’m both excited to move on and still somehow thinking “it’s too soon” to leave OBX. It’s been 6 weeks now. I think it will never be enough time.
But, we have lots of fun travel ahead – we’re going all the way up into Newfoundland and Labrador next month(!!)

My new kite reel has a ratchet built in so you can lock it to only reel in, but not out. Kind of like a fishing reel. I also got a shorter tail because the 75′ one is awesome but cumbersome in tighter spots. Such a fun way to run out for a quick break during work. I ♥️ OBX.
