“what’s the difference between a mimosa and a mannmosa?”

    Waitress – “umm…vodka!”

    “well then!”

Finally got the sticker map up on the new camper. ????

Ahh. A warm evening. Hustle and bustle of people. The hiss of beer cans opening, the smell of campfire, burgers, and hotdogs. Kids screaming in delight. A gentle breeze.

Camping season is in full-swing ’round here.

Chilling in the outer banks, enjoying the company of this new fangled thing called a “beer fridge”. I just might use the outdoor kitchen today after all.

Because we’re in a small camper with no slides, we were able to turn two back to back bookings at two different RV lots into a single two week stay, in a better location, for less money. This. This is why we swapped to the smaller rig.

Stunt kiting in OBX is just so fun. There’s basically always wind, and generally I find myself in walking distance of a good kiting spot. I find myself going out to do a quick session instead of just walking around the campground when I need a break from work. Loving it. Getting the hang of some of the basic tricks, too!

My bed in the new camper is a Murphy bed. After the crazy japanese mattress folding thing we had to accomplish the same thing in our original camper, watching the bad miraculously appear, completely made, never ceases to satisfy.

We just booked 2 more weeks at OBX. We’re just not ready to leave yet!

Really enjoying kiting as a travel friendly, family friendly hobby. They’re lots of fun, and can easily fit inside any RV setup I can imagine.

It’s a dreary, blustery weekend in the OBX. It’s like the universe is trying to remind me about when it sucks to be in a smaller rig. No regrets though, we’re built for this!
